Richard adalah pendiri sekaligus managing partner dari Nelwan & Co. Dia adalah konsultan hukum dan advokat berlisensi yang terdaftar pada Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (PERADI). Menjadi konsultan dan praktisi hukum sejak tahun 2014, Richard telah mendampingi dan mewakili berbagai klien, mulai dari Individu, Pemerintahan, perusahaan swasta dalam negeri hingga luar negeri. Richard secara khusus memiliki spesialisasi hukum dalam hal regulasi kepatuhan hukum, bisnis perusahaan, investasi, startup dan teknologi, properti dan pertanahan, serta litigasi keperdataan maupun pidana. Sebelum mendirikan Nelwan & Co, Richard telah berpengalaman mendampingi berbagai individu, startup, UMKM, dan perusahaan multinasional dalam melakukan berbagai pengurusan hukum dan bisnis di Indonesia.

Richard mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Hukum dari Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Jakarta, dan gelar Magister Hukum dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta, di mana keduanya didapatkan dengan predikat Cum Laude. Semasa berkuliah, Richard juga aktif dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan, dan pernah terpilih dan menjabat sebagai Ketua Senat Mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum UPH serta Ketua Umum Keluarga Mahasiswa Magister Hukum UGM.

Sebelum mendirikan Nelwan & Co, Richard bekerja sebagai konsultan dan analis hukum dan kebijakan publik pada salah satu perusahaan konsultan multinasional terkemuka di Jakarta, dimana dia bertugas mendampingi beberapa Menteri dan Kementerian di Indonesia dalam melakukan perumusan kebijakan, inisiatif, dan peraturan hukum, serta mengkomunikasikannya dengan berbagai pihak terkait, mulai dari institusi pemerintahan hingga perusahaan-perusahaan multinasional.

Selanjutnya Richard memperluas pengalamannya dengan bergabung pada salah satu firma hukum terkemuka di Jakarta sebagai Senior Associate, hingga kemudian menjadi Partner. Semasa itu, Richard dipercayakan untuk mendampingi klien-klien dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, terutama terkait hukum bisnis, investasi, properti, dan litigasi. Pengalaman industrinya antara lain: Pariwisata, Kesehatan, Properti, Pertanahan.

Richard juga adalah pendiri dan Direktur Eksekutif dari Wain Advisory Indonesia, salah perusahaan konsultan dan penelitian terkemuka di Jakarta yang secara khusus bergerak di bidang, Politik, Kebijakan Publik, dan Hubungan Pemerintah.

Ahmad has 10+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer. He is a licensed advocate and a certified legal auditor. His professional portfolio includes representing prominent national figures, corporate clients, and multinational enterprises in complex legal matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His areas of expertise include business\/corporate litigation and dispute resolution, criminal defense, and emerging technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, and tokenization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahmad earned his Master\u2019s Degree in Law from Universitas Indonesia (UI)<\/em> and his Bachelor of Laws <\/strong>(S.H.) from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH)<\/em>. Prior to joining Nelwan & Co as a Partner, he served as Managing Partner at a prominent Jakarta law firm after years of practice at one of Indonesia\u2019s oldest and most reputable firms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
